This was a prototype I built in my spare time. I really wanted to make a more narrative driven game that had lots of mystery and had a lot of unexplained questions in a very Call of Cthulhu style.
While how it currently looks isn't representative of the narrative I wanted, I did want to base the narrative around the Rudston Monolith in North Yorkshire, England which is the tallest Megalith in the UK. It is thought that the stone has to be at least as deep in the ground as it is tall, and I like the idea that this Megalith extends down infinity and has a whole network of caves and subterranean areas that have their own environments all with their own strange goings on.
This is something I would love to return to at some point.
